First results from KamLAND: evidence for reactor antineutrino disappearance.

K. Eguchi, +106 more
TL;DR: In the context of two-flavor neutrino oscillations with CPT invariance, all solutions to the solar neutrinos problem except for the "large mixing angle" region are excluded.
Journal Article

Long-Baseline Neutrino Facility (LBNF) and Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) Conceptual Design Report Volume 2: The Physics Program for DUNE at LBNF

R. Acciarri, +794 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the physics program for the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) at the Fermilab Long-Baseline Neurtrino Facility (LBNF) is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactor electron antineutrino disappearance in the Double Chooz experiment

Yoshio Abe, +167 more
- 18 Sep 2012 -
TL;DR: The Double Chooz experiment has observed 8,249 candidate electron antineutrino events in 227.93 live days with 33.71 GW-ton-years (reactor power x detector mass x livetime) exposure using a 10.3 cubic meter fiducial volume detector located at 1050 m from the reactor cores of the Choock nuclear power plant in France as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Constraints on θ13 from a three-flavor oscillation analysis of reactor antineutrinos at KamLAND

A. Gando, +83 more
- 04 Mar 2011 -
TL;DR: In this article, the neutrino oscillation parameters Δm^2_(21), θ-, 12, and θ_(13) from a three-flavor analysis of solar and KamLAND data are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

The next-generation liquid-scintillator neutrino observatory LENA

Michael Wurm, +81 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed the liquid-scintillator detector LENA (Low Energy Neutrino Astronomy) as a multipurpose neutrino observatory.
