Journal ArticleDOI
Prognostic Genes of Breast Cancer Identified by Gene Co-expression Network Analysis.
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors used Weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) to construct free-scale gene coexpression networks to explore the associations between gene sets and clinical features, and identify candidate biomarkers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bioinformatic analysis and identification of potential prognostic microRNAs and mRNAs in thyroid cancer
Jianing Tang,Deguang Kong,Qiuxia Cui,Kun Wang,Dan Zhang,Qianqian Yuan,Xing Liao,Yan Gong,Gaosong Wu +8 more
TL;DR: Thyroid cancer is one of the most common endocrine malignancies and microRNAs and mRNAs differentially expressed between thyroid cancer tissues and normal thyroid tissues and evaluated their prognostic values using Kaplan-Meier survival curves by log-rank test identified a series of prognostic micro RNAs andmRNAs that have the potential to be the targets for treatment of thyroid cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification and Preservation of Arm Lymphatic System in Axillary Dissection for Breast Cancer to Reduce Arm Lymphedema Events: A Randomized Clinical Trial.
Qianqian Yuan,Gaosong Wu,Shu-Yuan Xiao,Shu-Yuan Xiao,Jinxuan Hou,Yuqi Ren,Hongying Wang,Kun Wang,Dan Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: DEPART can benefit breast cancer patients who undergo ALND, reducing the arm lymphedema rate without adversely affecting the morbidity of regional recurrence, and the feasibility to perform DEPART in ALND is examined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Racial disparities of differentiated thyroid carcinoma: clinical behavior, treatments, and long-term outcomes.
TL;DR: The risk factors for DSS were significantly different in white and black patients, and the impact of race should be considered in treatment strategy for thyroid cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Impact of Gender and Age on the Prognosis of Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma: a Retrospective Analysis Based on SEER
TL;DR: The results suggested that different clinical behaviors and outcomes of DTC subtypes should be considered in patients with different genders, and that outcomes of FTC were not affected by gender in patients of all ages.
