Journal ArticleDOI

Lgr4 is a key regulator of prostate development and prostate stem cell differentiation

TL;DR: The data revealed the roles of Lgr4 in early prostate development and in stem cell differentiation through regulation of the Wnt, Notch, and Sonic Hedgehog signaling pathways.
Journal ArticleDOI

Haploinsufficiency in the prometastasis Kiss1 Receptor Gpr54 delays breast tumor initiation, progression and lung metastasis

TL;DR: It is concluded that Kiss1r attenuation was sufficient to delay breast tumor initiation, progression, and metastasis through inhibitory effects on the downstream Gαq-p63RhoGEF-RhoA signaling pathway.
Journal ArticleDOI

A human homolog of mouse Lbh gene, hLBH, expresses in heart and activates SRE and AP-1 mediated MAPK signaling pathway.

TL;DR: The cloning and characterization of the human homolog of mouse Lbh gene, hLBH, from a human embryonic heart cDNA library is reported, suggesting that h LBH proteins may act as a transcriptional activator in mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathway to mediate cellular functions.
Journal ArticleDOI

KiSS1 and its G-protein-coupled receptor GPR54 in cancer development and metastasis.

TL;DR: Recent advances in understanding the roles of KiSS1 and GPR54 in cancer development and metastasis are examined.
Journal ArticleDOI

Regulation of Embryonic Kidney Branching Morphogenesis and Glomerular Development by KISS1 Receptor (Gpr54) through NFAT2- and Sp1-mediated Bmp7 Expression

TL;DR: It is reported that Gpr54 deletion leads to kidney branching morphogenesis and glomerular development retardation in embryonic kidneys in vivo and in explanted kidneys in vitro and that NFAT2 cooperates with Sp1 to promote Bmp7 transcription activation.
