A complementary electrochromic system based on a Prussian blue thin film and a heptyl viologen solution
Chiao-Fen Lin,Chih-Yu Hsu,Hwa-Chiang Lo,Hwa-Chiang Lo,Cheng-Lan Lin,Lin-Chi Chen,Kuo-Chuan Ho +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a complementary electrochromic device (ECD) based on a Prussian blue (PB) thin film and a heptyl viologen (HV(BF 4 ) 2 ) solution was assembled and studied.
Journal ArticleDOI
High contrast all-solid-state electrochromic device with 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxy (TEMPO), heptyl viologen, and succinonitrile
Chih-Wei Hu,Kun-Mu Lee,Kun-Chieh Chen,Li-Chi Chang,Kuan-Yu Shen,Shi-Cheng Lai,Tsung-Hsien Kuo,Chih-Yu Hsu,Lee-May Huang,R. Vittal,Kuo-Chuan Ho +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a high contrast all-solid-state electrochromic device (ECD) is fabricated, using the device heptyl viologen (HV(BF 4 ) 2 ) as the cathodic coloring solution (electrochromic), 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxy (TEMPO) as the anodic radical provider (ion-storage layer), and crystals of succinonitrile (SN)-plastic as the solid-matrix.
Journal ArticleDOI
Poly(ionic liquid)s for dye-sensitized solar cells: A mini-review
Chuan-Pei Lee,Kuo-Chuan Ho +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a short review on the poly(ionic liquid)s to be used as the quasi/all-solid state electrolytes in DSSCs is given, and future perspectives for the development of poly(ion liquid) for DSSC are also briefly discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effective suppression of interfacial charge recombination by a 12-crown-4 substituent on a double-anchored organic sensitizer and rotating disk electrochemical evidence
TL;DR: In this paper, double-anchored phenothiazine-based dyes (DCE1-DCE4) were synthesized and applied as sensitizers for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs).
Journal ArticleDOI
Dihydrophenanthrene-based metal-free dyes for highly efficient cosensitized solar cells.
Ryan Yeh-Yung Lin,Yung-Sheng Yen,Yung-Tse Cheng,Chuan-Pei Lee,Ying-Chan Hsu,Hsien-Hsin Chou,Chih-Yu Hsu,Yung-Chung Chen,Jiann T. Lin,Kuo-Chuan Ho,Chiitang Tsai +10 more
TL;DR: Metal-free dyes (BP-1 to BP-3) containing a 9,10-dihydrophenanthrene unit in the spacer have been synthesized and the dye with the highest cell efficiency, BP-2, was used in combination with SQ2 for cosensitized DSSCs.
