Investigation on Capacitance Mechanisms of Fe3O4 Electrochemical Capacitors

TL;DR: In this paper, the capacitance mechanism of magnetite (Fe 3 O 4 ) electrochemical capacitance was investigated by electrochemical quartz-crystal microbalance analysis, along with cyclic voltammetry and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Using modified poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene): Poly(styrene sulfonate) film as a counter electrode in dye-sensitized solar cells

TL;DR: In this paper, the conductivity of PEDOT:PSS films was investigated using polar solvent-treated poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene): poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT):PSS) coating on a conductive glass (fluorine-doped tin oxide, FTO) as a counter electrode.
Journal ArticleDOI

Molecularly Imprinted Electrochemical Sensors

TL;DR: In this article, a review of the applications of molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) materials in the area of electrochemical sensors has been explored, where the designs of the MIPs containing different polymers, their preparation and their immobilization on the transducer surface have been discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly efficient dye-sensitized solar cell with a ZnO nanosheet-based photoanode

TL;DR: In this article, a dye-sensitized solar cell with ZnO nanosheets (ZnO-NS) as its photoanode was shown to achieve a light-to-electricity conversion efficiency of 6.06% under 100 mW cm−2 illumination.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent progress in organic sensitizers for dye-sensitized solar cells

TL;DR: In this paper, a review mainly focuses on recent progress in metal-free sensitizers for applications in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) and also briefly reports DSSCs with near-infrared (NIR) organic sensors, which provide the possibility to extend the absorption threshold of the sensitizer in the NIR region.
