LDPE protected by secondary amines of dehydroabietic methyl ester derivatives

TL;DR: In this article, the thermal degradation of low density polyethylene in the presence of several esters was investigated by chemiluminescence at three temperatures: 180, 200, and 220 °C.
Journal ArticleDOI

LDPE degradation by IR-laser irradiation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented the thermal degradation of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) due to laser action and the kinetic treatment of chemiluminescence data allowed estimation of the antioxidant ability to retard oxidative degradation under severe energy transfer and formulated a general mechanism through which laser irradiation damages the majority of polyolefins.
Journal ArticleDOI

Web tools and instruments created in the VccSSe European project with the view to support Science teachers' experimental activities

TL;DR: Specific web-tools, gathered under an environment called e-Space, were created during the three years Socrates- Comenius 2.1 European project “VccSSe - Virtual Community Collaborating Space for Science Education”, which supported the pedagogical use of virtual experiments, as a new technology in the common Science teaching and learning process.
Journal ArticleDOI

From Ethics, Integrity and Moral Probity to Responsible Research and Innovation in Current Educational Practices

TL;DR: In this article, the authors of the Romanian Journal of Multidimensional Education try to offer some answers to possible educational values of equity, integrity or relevance principles, together with the possibilities of exploiting the dimensions of Responsible Research and Innovation in the actual education.

Antioxidant Effect of Some Flavonoids on Organic Substrate

TL;DR: In this paper, the protection activity of natural antioxidants was evaluated using ethanol extracts from dry five plants (Salvia Officinalis, Rosmarinus Officinalsis, Rhus Typhia, Origanum Vulgaris and Ocimum Basilicum) at room temperature.
