Journal ArticleDOI

Toll-Like Receptor 7 Enhances Rabies Virus-Induced Humoral Immunity by Facilitating the Formation of Germinal Centers.

TL;DR: Results suggest that TLR7 facilitates the induction of the humoral immunity in response to RABV, and down-regulation of some cytokines/chemokines results in a Th2-biased antibody production.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interferon-λ Attenuates Rabies Virus Infection by Inducing Interferon-Stimulated Genes and Alleviating Neurological Inflammation.

TL;DR: The role of IFN-λ in inhibiting RABV infection is underscored, which potentiates IFn-λ as a possible therapeutic agent for the treatment of RABv infection.
Journal ArticleDOI

Composition of the murine gut microbiome impacts humoral immunity induced by rabies vaccines.

TL;DR: The results provide the evidence that the gut microbiome impacts humoral immunity post rabies vaccination, and further investigation of the mechanism will help the development of novel adjuvants and vaccines.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dihydroartemisinin regulates immune cell heterogeneity by triggering a cascade reaction of CDK and MAPK phosphorylation

TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors showed that DHA selectively induced T-cell activation, with an increased proportion of Ki67+CD4+ T cells, CD25+CD 4+T cells, interferon (IFN)-γ-producing CD8+ T cell, Brdu+ CD8+, and neutrophils, which was found to enhance cellular immunity to experimental malaria and overcome immunosuppression in mice.
