Journal ArticleDOI

A mechanistic study of ciprofloxacin removal by kaolinite.

TL;DR: The high adsorption rate constant due to surface advertisersorption instead of intercalation and the wide distribution of kaolinite in different soils suggest that the fate and transport of Cip may be governed by the transport of colloidal sized clays.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel single-composition trichromatic white-emitting Sr3.5Y6.5O2(PO4)1.5(SiO4)4.5 : Ce3+/Tb3+/Mn2+ phosphor: synthesis, luminescent properties and applications for white LEDs

TL;DR: In this article, a series of single-composition trichromatic white-emitting Sr3.5Y6.5 (SYPSO) phosphors were investigated, and the crystal structures and luminescence properties, especially the energy transfer behavior, were discussed in detail.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel red-emitting Ba2Tb(BO3)2Cl:Eu phosphor with efficient energy transfer for potential application in white light-emitting diodes.

TL;DR: Decay time and time-resolved luminescence measurements indicated that the interesting luminescent behavior should be ascribed to efficient energy transfer of Eu(2+)-Eu(3+)(Tb (3+)) and Tb(3-)-EU(3+) in Ba (2)Tb(BO(3))(2)Cl:Eu phosphors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Micro-electrolysis of Cr (VI) in the nanoscale zero-valent iron loaded activated carbon.

TL;DR: By analyzing the obtained profiles from the cyclic voltammetry, PXRD and XPS, it is demonstrated that the Cr (VI) is reduced to insoluble Cr (III) compound in the reaction.
