Yield, Essential Oil and Quality Performances of Artemisia dracunculus, Hyssopus officinalis and Lavandula angustifolia as Affected by Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi under Organic Management.

TL;DR: AMF inoculation resulted in a significant enhancement of the overall performances of A. dracunculus, L. angustifolia and H. officinalis, and also in the improvement of plant antioxidant status upon storage in stress conditions, according to the outcome of the present research.
Journal ArticleDOI

Foliar Application of Selenium under Nano Silicon on Artemisia Annua: Effects on Yield, Antioxidant Status, Essential Oil, Artemisinin Content and Mineral Composition

TL;DR: In this article , the effect of the Se and nano-Si supply on the yield, biochemical characteristics and mineral content of A. annua was investigated, and a significant increase in the antioxidant status were recorded under Se and Nano-Si foliar application.
Book ChapterDOI

Genetic and Environmental Influence on Macro- and Microelement Accumulation in Plants of Artemisia Species

TL;DR: In this article, a review of the data regarding macro-and trace element accumulation in Artemisia plants is presented, with a major focus on mineral content differences among species belonging to this genus in connection with the environmental conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evaluation of Factors Affecting Tree and Shrub Bark’s Antioxidant Status

TL;DR: In this paper , the determination of total antioxidant activity (AOA) and polyphenol content (TP) in the bark of 58 tree and shrub species from 7 regions differing in mean annual temperature, insolation, humidity, salinity level, and altitude was performed.
