A review on the advanced design techniques and methods of vibrating screen for coal preparation

TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic search of literature published during the last fifteen years was carried out and based on the analysis on these papers, these advanced design techniques and methods were summed up as three issues: the kinetic properties of the screen body by dynamic modeling, the optimal screening operational parameters by discrete element method and the dynamic design of the body by finite element method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dynamic influence of screening coals on a vibrating screen

TL;DR: In this article, structural vibration and strain signal of a vibrating screen were tested and analyzed for investigating the dynamic influence of screening coals on the vibration of the screen, and the results demonstrated that the random vibration was stable and ergodic, which means that any section of the captured signal is enough to be analyzed for representing the vibration properties of the whole screening process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Research on impact characteristics of screening coals on vibrating screen based on discrete-finite element method

TL;DR: In this paper, the impact of oversized material often causes damage to the screen surface, which then affects the quality of the screen, and the screen is used extensively for the size classification of coals.
Journal ArticleDOI

A more accurate dynamic model for dual-side excitation large vibrating screens

TL;DR: In this paper, a dual-side excitation large vibrating screen (DELVS) with metal cylindrical coiled springs is theoretically and experimentally studied, and a fundamental three-degree-of-freedom (3-DOF) dynamic model for DELVS is established firstly.
Journal ArticleDOI

Screening Mechanism and Properties of a Cantilevered Vibrating Sieve for Particles Processing

TL;DR: In this paper, a cantilevered vibrating sieve (CVS) with open screen holes was proposed, which is composed of two sieve rods, and the CVS proved to have a higher screen-penetrating probability relative to traditional sieves.
