Journal ArticleDOI
Isoelectronic Tungsten Doping in Monolayer MoSe2 for Carrier Type Modulation
Xufan Li,Ming-Wei Lin,Leonardo Basile,Saban M. Hus,Alexander A. Puretzky,Jaekwang Lee,Yen Chien Kuo,Lo-Yueh Chang,Kai Wang,Juan C. Idrobo,An-Ping Li,Chia-Hao Chen,Christopher M. Rouleau,David B. Geohegan,Kai Xiao +14 more
TL;DR: P-type conduction in monolayer Mo1-x Wx Se2 appears to originate from the upshift of the valenceband maximum toward the Fermi level at highly localized "W-rich" regions in the lattice.
Journal ArticleDOI
Single iron atoms stabilized by microporous defects of biomass-derived carbon aerogels as high-performance cathode electrocatalysts for aluminum–air batteries
Ting He,Ting He,Ya-Qian Zhang,Yang Chen,Zhang Zhenzhu,Haiyan Wang,Yongfeng Hu,Min Liu,Chih-Wen Pao,Jeng-Lung Chen,Lo-Yueh Chang,Lo-Yueh Chang,Zhifang Sun,Juan Xiang,Yi Zhang,Shaowei Chen +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, a 3D carbon aerogel-supported single metal atom catalysts are used as the catalysts in an aluminum-air battery, which achieves an ultrahigh open-circuit voltage of 1.81 V, large power density of 181.1 mW cm−2 and stable discharge voltage of 0.70 V at 20 mA cm−1.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bismuth Oxyhydroxide-Pt Inverse Interface for Enhanced Methanol Electrooxidation Performance.
Xuchun Wang,Xuchun Wang,Miao Xie,Fenglei Lyu,Y. M. Yiu,Zhiqiang Wang,Jiatang Chen,Lo-Yueh Chang,Yujian Xia,Qixuan Zhong,Mingyu Chu,Hao Yang,Tao Cheng,Tsun-Kong Sham,Qiao Zhang +14 more
TL;DR: This work demonstrates the formation of a bismuth oxyhydroxide (BiOx(OH)y)-Pt inverse interface via electrochemical reconstruction for enhanced methanol oxidation and provides a comprehensive understanding of the inverse interface structure and deep insight into the active sites for MOR.
Journal ArticleDOI
Is electron accumulation universal at InN polar surfaces
Cheng-Tai Kuo,Shih-Chieh Lin,Kai-Kuen Chang,Hung-Wei Shiu,Lo-Yueh Chang,Chia-Hao Chen,Shu-Jung Tang,Shangjr Gwo +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the flatband InN ( 000 1 ¯ ) surface is shown to be stoichiometric and free of In adlayer, which implies that the removal of in adlayer at the InN( 000 1¯ ) surface leads to the absence of downward surface band bending.
Journal ArticleDOI
Elucidation of Anionic and Cationic Redox Reactions in a Prototype Sodium-Layered Oxide Cathode.
Chen Cheng,Siyuan Li,Tiefeng Liu,Yujian Xia,Lo-Yueh Chang,Yingying Yan,Manling Ding,Yue Hu,Jinpeng Wu,Jinghua Guo,Jinghua Guo,Liang Zhang +11 more
TL;DR: The quantitative analysis provides unambiguous evidence for the continuous reduction of the average valence state of Mn and Ni over extended cycles, leading to the voltage fading.
