TL;DR: Higher values of BMI in childhood are related with higher values of cf-PWV, SBP, and DBP in the three samples, suggesting that worse conditions in fetal life may contribute to increased aortic stiffness in childhood.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors evaluated the relationship between the Dietary Inflammatory Index (DII®) and cardiovascular health indicators in children and found that children with a more pro-inflammatory diet came from families with lower levels of parental education (p < 0.05).
