TL;DR: The use of active fixation leads is associated with an increased risk of cardiac perforation, and only four models of leads were associated with perforations, but the risk of their use was not statistically significantly increased, when compared with otheractive fixation leads placed in the adequate position.

TL;DR: Slowed or delayed myocardial activation is a common feature in patients with noncoronary heart disease with a history of VF, and its assessment may allow the prospective prediction of Vf risk in these patients.
