Assessing magnetic and inductive thermal properties of various surfactants functionalised Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles for hyperthermia

TL;DR: This work reports the fabrication of magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles (NPs) coated with various biocompatible surfactants via co-precipitation method and their comparative inductive heating ability for hyperthermia (HT) applications and establishes a direct correlation between relaxation time and heating efficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI

Visible light-driven novel nanocomposite (BiVO4/CuCr2O4) for efficient degradation of organic dye.

TL;DR: The nanocomposite showed a photocatalytic activity for MB dye degradation which is three times higher compared to that of BiVO4, which has been attributed to photogenerated electron-hole pair charge separation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of electropolymerised polyaniline films using cyclic voltammetry, atomic force microscopy and optical spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of dopant on the structure, morphology and optical properties of electrodeposited polyaniline has also been studied using x-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), optical absorbance & luminescence spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

A study of size dependent structure, morphology and luminescence behavior of CdS films on Si substrate

TL;DR: In this paper, the size tunable cadmium sulfide (CdS) films deposited by a dip coating technique on silicon (100) and indium tin oxide/glass substrates have been characterized using X-ray diffraction, Xray reflectivity, transmission electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy and photoluminescence spectroscopy.
