Characteristics and applications of magnetized water as a green technology

TL;DR: In this article, the authors reviewed the unique properties of magnetized water as well as its potential applications as a smart and more environmentally friendly fluid in the oil industry, e.g., as an injection fluid in enhanced oil recovery areas for producing oil.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical bioleaching of high grade chalcopyrite flotation concentrates in a stirred bioreactor

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a typical flotation concentrate from the Sarcheshmeh copper processing complex (located in the south-east of Iran) and mixed mesophilic as well as moderately thermophilic microorganisms, leaching experiments were performed in a stirred bioreactor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Conventional and electrochemical bioleaching of chalcopyrite concentrates by moderately thermophilic bacteria at high pulp density

TL;DR: In this paper, the results of 10-day leaches showed that, when using electrochemical bio-leaching in an ORP range of 400 to 430mV, copper recovery reached about 80% which is 39, 15 and 117 times higher than that achieved in abiotic electrochemical leaching, conventional bioleaching, and electrochemical Bioleaching at 440-480mV ORP, respectively, in the presence and absence of a mixed culture of moderately thermophilic iron-and sulphur oxidizing bacteria using a 2-L stirred electro-biore
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel thermal decomposition method for the synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles from low concentration ZnSO4 solutions

TL;DR: In this article, ZnO nanoparticles were prepared by direct thermal decomposition method with Zn 4 (SO 4 )(OH) 6 ·0.5 H 2 O as a precursor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Development of a neural fuzzy system for advanced prediction of dew point pressure in gas condensate reservoirs

TL;DR: A neural fuzzy system (NFS) is proposed to predict dew point pressure of gas condensate reservoir and it can be pointed out that this novel method is more accurate and reliable with the mean square error than existing methods.
