Journal ArticleDOI
Mitogen-activated protein kinases as therapeutic targets for asthma
TL;DR: This review underlines the promising results of MAPK inhibition in animal asthma models especially in restoring corticosteroid sensitivity, as well as recent clinical safety and efficacy evidence obtained from trials in similar disease areas such as COPD, and the paucity of clinical evidence for targeting MAPKs in asthma.

TL;DR: If BGL is lower than 200 mg/dl no interventions are needed for lowering BGL, unless the liver is the organ of interest, and future studies are needed to evaluate sensitivity and specificity of FDG-PET scan in diagnosis of malignant lesions in hyperglycemia.
