Journal ArticleDOI
Studies on Cinnamonitriles: The Reaction of Cinnamonitriles with Cyclopentanone
TL;DR: In this article, cyclopentanone reacts with arylidenemalononitriles to give dihydro-4,6-indenedicarboxylate derivative.
Journal ArticleDOI
L-Arginine grafted alginate hydrogel beads: A novel pH-sensitive system for specific protein delivery
TL;DR: Grafting of alginate has improved its release profile behavior particularly in acidic media and suggested that the Arg-g-Alg hydrogel may be a potential candidate for polymeric carrier for oral delivery of protein or drugs.
Journal ArticleDOI
A new and easy synthesis of silylated furanoid glycals in one step from nucleosides
Journal ArticleDOI
Optimization of an eco-friendly dyeing process in both laboratory scale and pilot scale supercritical carbon dioxide unit for polypropylene fabrics with special new disperse dyes
Tarek Abou Elmaaty,Mamdouh A. Sofan,Hanan Elsisi,Tamer R. Kosbar,Elham Negm,Kazumasa Hirogaki,Isao Tabata,Teruo Hori +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new synthetic route was developed to create azo based dispersed dyes which are derived from 3-(3-Chloropheney)-2-((4-substituted) diazenyl)-3-oxopropanenitrile and 3-substantituted 5-amino-4-arylazopyrazoles.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nitriles in heterocyclic synthesis: a novel route for the synthesis of naphthodipyrans, pyridines: 2H- and 4H-pyrans
A. A. Elagamey,Fathy M. El-Taweel,Salah Zaki Ahmed Sowellim,Mamdouh A. Sofan,Mohamed Hilmy Elnagdi +4 more
TL;DR: Naphtho[2,1-b:3,4-b]-dipyrans, naphthoenb:5,6,6-b]diprans, and Naphthopyrans[1,2b:6,5,5-b], respectively, were synthesized by the reaction of cinnamonitriles with 2,3, 1,5-, 1,1,6 naphthalenediols, respectively as mentioned in this paper.
