Journal ArticleDOI

Long noncoding RNA: an emerging paradigm of cancer research

TL;DR: An update view of lncRNA, extract cancer-related lnc RNAs from literature, and describe the known functions and possible underlying molecular mechanisms of some well investigated lncRNAs (MALAT1, HOX antisense intergenic RNA, and highly upregulated in hepatocellular cancer).
Journal ArticleDOI

H3K27 acetylation activated-long non-coding RNA CCAT1 affects cell proliferation and migration by regulating SPRY4 and HOXB13 expression in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.

TL;DR: RNA-seq analysis revealed that CCAT1 knockdown preferentially affected genes that are linked to cell proliferation, cell migration and cell adhesion, and demonstrated the important roles ofCCAT1 in ESCC oncogenesis and might serve as targets for ESCC diagnosis and therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Circular RNA has_circ_0067934 is upregulated in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and promoted proliferation.

TL;DR: It is found that hsa_circ_0067934 was significantly overexpressed in ESCC tissues compared with paired adjacent normal tissues and the high expression level was associated with poor differentiation, which inhibited the proliferation and migration of ESCC cells and blocked cell cycle progression.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Circular RNA circPRKCI Promotes Tumor Growth in Lung Adenocarcinoma.

TL;DR: Findings reveal high expression of the circular RNA circPRKCI drives lung adenocarcinoma tumorigenesis and may serve as a potential therapeutic target in patients with lungAdenocARCinoma.
Journal ArticleDOI

CCAT2 is a lung adenocarcinoma-specific long non-coding RNA and promotes invasion of non-small cell lung cancer

TL;DR: It is indicated that CCAT2 is a lung adenocarcinoma-specific lncRNA and promotes invasion of NSCLC and highlights its potential as a biomarker for lymph node metastasis.
