Impact of magnetite iron oxide nanoparticles on wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) development: Evaluation of oxidative damage

TL;DR: In this paper, physiological effects and possible cell internalization of citric acid coated-Fe3O4 nanoparticles (5, 10, 15, 20 ) on wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) plants grown five days under hydroponic conditions were evaluated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Nanoclustering and Dipolar Interactions in Heat Generation for Magnetic Hyperthermia.

TL;DR: It is proved that the magnetic hyperthermia performances of nanoclusters and single nanoparticles are distinctive and the power dissipated by an ensemble of dispersed magnetic nanoparticles becomes a nonextensive property as a direct consequence of the long-range nature of dipolar interactions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hybrid nanomaterials based on gum Arabic and magnetite for hyperthermia treatments

TL;DR: In this study, one-step co-precipitation method was conveniently adapted to obtain novel nanomaterials based on Gum Arabic and magnetite to demonstrate their viability to be applied in tumor ablation treatments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of Ni Nanoparticles by Femtosecond Laser Ablation in Liquids: Structure and Sizing

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a 120 fs (femtosecond) pulse laser to ablate a Ni solid target in n-heptane and water, and analyzed its structure, configuration, and sizing using different independent techniques, such as optical extinction spectroscopy (OES), atomic force microscopy (AFM), TEM, and electron diffraction (ED).
