Thiophene-Bridged Donor–Acceptor sp2-Carbon-Linked 2D Conjugated Polymers as Photocathodes for Water Reduction

TL;DR: The bithiophene-bridged donor-acceptor-based 2D sp2 -carbon-linked conjugated polymer (2D CCP) exhibits a wide light-harvesting range, a optical energy gap, and highest energy occupied molecular orbital-lowest unoccupied molecular orbital distributions for facilitated charge transfer, which make 2D CCP-Th a promising candidate for PEC water reduction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of Vinylene-Linked Two-Dimensional Conjugated Polymers via the Horner–Wadsworth–Emmons Reaction

TL;DR: PXRD studies and nitrogen adsorption‐desorption measurements demonstrate the formation of proclaimed crystalline, dual‐pore structures with surface areas of up to 440 m2 g−1, unambiguously proving the superior conjugation of the vinylene‐linked 2D CPs using the HWE reaction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Vinylene-Linked Two-Dimensional Covalent Organic Frameworks: Synthesis and Functions

TL;DR: Two-dimensional covalent organic frameworks (2D COFs) with covalently bonded repeat units and crystalline, porous framework backbones have attracted immense attention since the first 2D C....
Journal ArticleDOI

Luminescent sp2-Carbon-Linked 2D Conjugated Polymers with High Photostability

TL;DR: In this paper, small organic molecules are generally sensitive to UV radiation and photostability of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are used in optoelectronics, sensor, and photocatalysis applica-tions.
