TL;DR: In this article, a flash chromatography compound class fractionation and subsequent subsequent gas chromatography (GC)-MS and/or GC-flame ionization detection analysis was applied for the determination of more than 170 organic compounds in samples, such as aerosols and marine sediments, collected during a 1 year period in a coastal environment of Eastern Mediterranean.

TL;DR: Dry and wet atmospheric deposition, air-sea exchange, and sediment trap fluxes of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the eastern Mediterranean basin were estimated from November 2000 to July 2002 and PAH concentrations were determined.
