Design, synthesis, and antiviral activity of new 1H-1,2,3-triazole nucleoside ribavirin analogs

TL;DR: The design, synthesis, and antiviral activity of new nucleoside ribavirin analogs are described based on the following: ring bioisosterism of a 1,2,4-triazole for a 1%, and amide group exchange for other substituents, such as c-propyl, methyl carboxylate, or trifluoromethyl groups.
Journal ArticleDOI

New compounds hybrids 1h-1,2,3-triazole-quinoline against Plasmodium falciparum.

TL;DR: This work synthesized 11 new quinoline‐1H‐1,2,3‐triazole hybrids with different substituents in the 4‐positions of the 1H‐2‐chloroquine‐resistant P. falciparum clone, exhibiting good selectivity indexes, as high 351 for one compound.
Journal ArticleDOI

One-pot synthesis of 2-isopropyl-3-benzyl-1,3-thiazolidin-4-ones and 2-phenyl-3-isobutyl-1,3-thiazolidin-4-ones from valine, arenealdehydes and mercaptoacetic acid

TL;DR: In this paper, a three-component one-pot synthesis of 2-isopropyl-3-benzyl-1,3-thiazolidin-4-ones and 2-phenyl- 3-isobutyl- 1,3 -thiazolines from valine, arenealdehydes and mercaptoacetic acid with good yields is reported.
