Journal ArticleDOI

Timing of and Risk Factors for Myocardial Ischemic Events After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (IMPACT-II)

TL;DR: The risk of ischemic events were greatest immediately after PCI and rapidly declined, so that by 9 hours the hazard function plot was flat; 66% of events occurred within 6 hours of PCI.
Journal ArticleDOI

Clinical risk factors for ischemic complications after percutaneous coronary interventions: Results from the EPIC trial

TL;DR: Future risk models should include baseline clinical and angiographic characteristics to define the risk for ischemic complications in individual patients, and treatment with abciximab should not be predicated on lesion morphologic findings alone.
Journal ArticleDOI
