Measurement of the electron reconstruction efficiency at LHCb

Roel Aaij, +911 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the single electron track-reconstruction efficiency is calibrated using a sample corresponding to $1.3~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of collision data recorded with the LHCb detector in 2017.
Journal ArticleDOI

First observation of the decay $B_{s}^{0} \to K_{S}^{0} K^{*}(892)^{0}$

Roel Aaij, +714 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for the decay of the LHCb collision data was performed using collision data with an integrated luminosity of $1.0~\text{fb}^{-1}, and the decay was observed for the first time, with a significance of 7.1 standard deviations.

OPPL-Galaxy, a Galaxy tool for enhancing ontology exploitation as part of bioinformatics

TL;DR: The Ontology Pre Processor Language (OPPL) as discussed by the authors is an OWL-based language for automating the changes to be performed in an ontology, which can be used for enriching, modifying and querying biomedical ontologies.
Journal ArticleDOI

The TaCslA12 gene expressed in the wheat grain endosperm synthesizes wheat-like mannan when expressed in yeast and Arabidopsis.

TL;DR: The aim of this work was to study the biosynthesis and function of wheat grain mannan, and it was shown that mannan is deposited in the endosperm early during grain development, and candidate mannan biosynthetic genes expressed in theendosperm were identified.
