Search for long-lived particles decaying to jet pairs

Roel Aaij, +700 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for long-lived particles with a mass between 25 and 50 GeV$/c^2$ and a lifetime between 1 and 200 ps in a sample of proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 0.62 fb$^{-1}$, collected by the LHCb detector.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observation of multiplicity-dependent prompt $\chi_{c1}(3872)$ and $\psi(2S)$ production in $pp$ collisions

Roel Aaij, +976 more
TL;DR: The production of χ_{c1}(3872) and ψ(2S) hadrons is studied as a function of charged particle multiplicity in pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2 fb^{-1}.
Book ChapterDOI

Semantically-guided workflow construction in Taverna: the SADI and BioMoby plug-ins

TL;DR: This article compares and contrast the functionality of the BioMoby and SADI plug-ins to Taverna, with a particular focus on how they attempt to simplify workflow synthesis by end-users.
Journal ArticleDOI

Resonances and $CP$ violation in $B_s^0$ and $\overline{B}_s^0 \to J/\psi K^+K^-$ decays in the mass region above the $\phi(1020)$ : arXiv

Roel Aaij, +773 more
TL;DR: In this article, the decay time dependent amplitude analysis is employed to determine the resonant substructure and measure the decay width of the meson, and the width difference between light and heavy mass eigenstates.
