A New Species of Skin-Feeding Caecilian and the First Report of Reproductive Mode in Microcaecilia (Amphibia: Gymnophiona: Siphonopidae)

TL;DR: Observations of oviparity and of extended parental care in M. dermatophaga are the first reproductive mode data for any species of the genus, and the species is named for this maternal dermatophagy, which is hypothesised to be characteristic of the Siphonopidae.

Distribution and abundance of the caecilian Gegeneophis ramaswamii (Amphibia: Gymnophiona) in southern Kerala

TL;DR: Gegeneophis ramaswamii was the most common caecilian species found here, and in two localities densities ranged between 0.44 and 1.13 individuals, and 2.59 and 5.54 g per m, which indicates that, contrary to many reports, caecilians are highly abundant in some localities.
Journal ArticleDOI

Test of lepton universality with Λb0→pK− ℓ+ ℓ− decays

Roel Aaij, +942 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the ratio of branching fractions of the decays was measured for the first time using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.7 fb−1 recorded with the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

SADI, SHARE, and the in silico scientific method

TL;DR: The semantic behaviours exhibited by SADI and SHARE extend the functionalities provided by Description Logic Reasoners such that novel assertions can be automatically added to a data-set without logical reasoning, but rather by analytical or annotative services.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of CP observables in B± → DK± and B± → Dπ± with two- and four-body D decays

Roel Aaij, +748 more
- 10 Sep 2016 -
TL;DR: The analysis of the four-pion $D$ decay mode is the first of its kind as mentioned in this paper, which uses a sample of charged $B$ mesons from collisions collected by the LHCb experiment in 2011 and 2012, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb$^{-1}.
