TL;DR: It is hypothesized that trophic specialisation enabled these two large-bodied species to coexist in the same ecosystem and is supported by Plesiosuchus manselii having a very large optimum gape, while Dakosaurus maximus possesses craniomandibular characteristics observed in extant suction-feeding odontocetes.

New tertiary sebecosuchians (Crocodylomorpha) from South America: Phylogenetic implications
TL;DR: A new family, genus and species of a sebecosuchian crocodile from the late Paleocene of northwestern Argentina is described in this article, showing several apomorphic conditions such as the bent premaxillae, very high posterior part of the jugal, bent pterygoids, 3 pairs of procumbent teeth and a broad retroarticular process.

TL;DR: A new genus, Aegirosaurus, is created and proposed as a new combination for this species, which clearly belongs to the clade Ophthalmosauria because of an angular largely exposed laterally and reaching as far anteriorly as the surangular.
