Mesenchymal stem cells for bone, cartilage, tendon and skeletal muscle repair.
TL;DR: The potential use of MSCs in degenerative or inflammatory diseases involving bone, cartilage, tendon and muscle tissues, on the basis of the experimental evidence is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Health Effects of Ambient Air Pollution in Developing Countries.
TL;DR: This review summarizes the current knowledge on ambient air pollution in financially deprived populations and indicates that there is increasing evidence that indoor air pollution also poses a serious threat to human health, especially in low-income countries that still use biomass fuels as an energy resource.
Journal ArticleDOI
Air pollution and cardiovascular disease.
TL;DR: The current knowledge of the short-term and long-term cardiovascular effects of particulate air pollutants is discussed in this review article.
