Low-Dose Apatinib Optimizes Tumor Microenvironment and Potentiates Antitumor Effect of PD-1/PD-L1 Blockade in Lung Cancer
Sha Zhao,Shengxiang Ren,Tao Jiang,Bo Zhu,Xuefei Li,Chao Zhao,Yijun Jia,Jinpeng Shi,Limin Zhang,Xiaozhen Liu,Meng Qiao,Xiaoxia Chen,Chunxia Su,Hui Yu,Caicun Zhou,Jun Zhang,D. Ross Camidge,Fred R. Hirsch,Fred R. Hirsch +18 more
TL;DR: This work demonstrated that low-dose apatinib alleviated hypoxia, increased infiltration of CD8+ T cells, reduced recruitment of tumor-associated macrophages in tumor and decreased TGFβ amounts in both tumor and serum, which shows the rationale for the treatment of lung cancer with a combination of PD-1/PD-L1 blockade and low- dose apatinIB.
Journal ArticleDOI
Single-cell profiling of tumor heterogeneity and the microenvironment in advanced non-small cell lung cancer
Fengying Wu,Jue Fan,Yayi He,Anwen Xiong,Jia Yu,Yixin Li,Yan Zhang,Wencheng Zhao,Fei Zhou,Wei Li,Jie Zhang,Xiaosheng Zhang,Meng Qiao,Guanghui Gao,Shanhao Chen,Xiaoxia Chen,Xuefei Li,Likun Hou,Chunyan Wu,Chunxia Su,Shengxiang Ren,Margarete Odenthal,Reinhard Buettner,Nan Fang,Caicun Zhou +24 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed 42 tissue biopsy samples from stage III/IV NSCLC patients by single cell RNA sequencing and presented the large scale, single cell resolution profiles of advanced NSCLCs.
Journal ArticleDOI
EGFR-targeted therapy alters the tumor microenvironment in EGFR-driven lung tumors: Implications for combination therapies.
Yijun Jia,Xuefei Li,Tao Jiang,Sha Zhao,Chao Zhao,Limin Zhang,Xiaozhen Liu,Jinpeng Shi,Meng Qiao,Jiawei Luo,Sangtian Liu,Ruoshuang Han,Chunxia Su,Shengxiang Ren,Caicun Zhou +14 more
TL;DR: This study systematically analyzed dynamic changes in tumor microenvironments responding to EGFR‐TKIs in vivo and found the optimal sequence of the treatment and strategies that modulate the tumor microenvironment to a state that may favor antitumor immune responses need to be considered when designing clinical trials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comprehensive evaluation of NT5E/CD73 expression and its prognostic significance in distinct types of cancers
Tao Jiang,Xiaofeng Xu,Meng Qiao,Xuefei Li,Chao Zhao,Fei Zhou,Guanghui Gao,Fengying Wu,Xiaoxia Chen,Chunxia Su,Shengxiang Ren,Changyun Zhai,Caicun Zhou +12 more
TL;DR: High CD73 expression was significantly associated with lymph node metastases and a promising prognostic factor in different types of cancers.
Journal ArticleDOI
The cutting-edge progress of immune-checkpoint blockade in lung cancer.
Fei Zhou,Meng Qiao,Caicun Zhou +2 more
TL;DR: The cutting-edge progress made in patients with lung cancer, the optimal duration of ICI treatment, ICIs in some special populations, the unique response patterns during ICItreatment, the emerging predictive biomarkers, and the understanding of primary and acquired resistance mechanisms to ICI Treatment are described are described.
