Journal ArticleDOI
Multi-center evaluation of analytical performance of the microparticle enzyme immunoassay for sirolimus.
D H Wilson,F Johnston,David W. Holt,M Moreton,Jutta Engelmayer,J-M Gaulier,Hilmar Luthe,P. Marquet,D Moscato,Michael Oellerich,R Mosso,Frank Streit,Mercè Brunet,Catherine Fillée,Rainer W. Schmid,Pierre Wallemacq,G Barnes +16 more
TL;DR: The MEIA demonstrated acceptable analytical characteristics for use for routine monitoring of sirolimus immunosuppressive therapy, and is a viable alternative to HPLC-based methods for siro Limus monitoring.
Journal ArticleDOI
Decreased serum linezolid concentrations in two patients receiving linezolid and rifampicin due to bone infections
Irma Hoyo,J.C. Martínez-Pastor,Sebastián García-Ramiro,Consuelo Climent,Mercè Brunet,Marta Cuesta,Josep Mensa,Alex Soriano +7 more
TL;DR: In both patients admitted to the hospital due to orthopaedic implant infections, the trough serum concentration of linezolid during rifampicin treatment was below the minimum inhibitory concentration required to inhibit the growth of 90% of organisms for staphylococci, but increased after rifampsicin withdrawal.
Journal ArticleDOI
High proportion of pretransplantation activated regulatory T cells (CD4+CD25highCD62L+CD45RO+) predicts acute rejection in kidney transplantation: results of a multicenter study.
David San Segundo,Olga Millán,Pedro Muñoz-Cacho,Francisco Boix,Estela Paz-Artal,Paloma Talayero,José M. Morales,Manuel Muro,Maria Angeles de Cos,Lluis Guirado,Santiago Llorente,Julio Pascual,Manuel Arias,Mercè Brunet,Marcos López-Hoyos +14 more
TL;DR: The evaluation of CD4+CD25highCD62L+CD45RO+ aTreg cells may be useful as pretransplantation predictive biomarker of AR in kidney transplant patients and awaits tests in validation groups.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of MRP2 on MPA pharmacokinetics in renal transplant recipients–results of the Pharmacogenomic Substudy within the Symphony Study
Nuria Lloberas,Juan Torras,J. M. Cruzado,Franc Andreu,Federico Oppenheimer,Jaime Sánchez-Plumed,Miguel A. Gentil,Mercè Brunet,Henrik Ekberg,J. M. Grinyo +9 more
TL;DR: Renal transplant recipients T carriers of C24T MRP2 with macrolides treatment were associated with reduced MPA AUC in steady-state conditions, and patients treated with cyclosporine lost the effect of this polymorphism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pharmacokinetic modeling of enterohepatic circulation of mycophenolic acid in renal transplant recipients
Helena Colom,Nuria Lloberas,Franc Andreu,Ana Caldés,Joan Torras,Federico Oppenheimer,Jaime Sánchez-Plumed,Miguel A. Gentil,Dirk Kuypers,Mercè Brunet,Henrik Ekberg,Josep M. Grinyó +11 more
TL;DR: The metabolic pathways of MPA are characterized and the effect of combining genetic polymorphism of multidrug-resistant-associated protein-2, demographics, biochemical covariates, co-medication, and renal function on MPA, 7-O-MPA-glucuronide (MPAG), and acyl-gloucesteride (AcMPAg) disposition is quantified.
