Journal ArticleDOI
A proposal on some microscopic aspects of the AdS/CFT duality
TL;DR: In this article, a model of the large N limit N = 4 SU(N) SYM as a gas of 3-branes in a 10-dimensional space is proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Closed Strings in Misner Space: Cosmological Production of Winding Strings
TL;DR: In this article, weakly coupled closed strings on Misner space are studied and a regular geometry regularization of the divergence at large winding number is shown to regularize the divergence.

Single and multi-particle scattering in Helical liquid with an impurity
TL;DR: In this article, the scattering behavior of a single non-magnetic impurity in a helical liquid is examined and the scattering charge can vary between $e$ and $2e$ depending on the strength of electron-electron interactions and the magnetic field.
Journal ArticleDOI
5D Black Holes and Non-linear Sigma Models
TL;DR: In this article, the authors generalize this procedure to 5D gauged supergravity, and identify the corresponding gauging in 3D, where the Killing spinor is non constant along the fibration.
Journal ArticleDOI
Splitting the W -ino multiplet by higher-dimensional operators in anomaly mediation
Micha Berkooz,Yonit Hochberg +1 more
TL;DR: In a class of AMSB models, the splitting in the $W$-ino multiplet turns out to be very small, such as the often-quoted 170 MeV in minimal AMSB, which originates from minimal supersymmetric standard model loops.
