Meta-analysis of Neuroblastomas Reveals a Skewed ALK Mutation Spectrum in Tumors with MYCN Amplification

TL;DR: A meta-analysis of 709 neuroblastoma tumors to determine their frequency and mutation spectrum in relation to genomic and clinical parameters, and studied the prognostic significance of ALK copy number and expression found Chromosome 2p gains were associated with a significantly increased ALK expression, which was also correlated with poor survival.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mutation of the receptor tyrosine phosphatase PTPRC (CD45) in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that down-regulation of CD45 expression sensitizes T cells to cytokine stimulation, as observed by increased JAK/STAT signaling, whereas overexpression of CD43 decreases cytokine-induced signaling, and identifies a tumor suppressor role for CD45 in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
