Generic Fe buffer layers for Fe-based superconductors: Epitaxial FeSe1-xTex thin films

TL;DR: The volume pinning force of FeSe1-xTex in this direction is very strong compared with that of Co-doped BaFe2As2, due to a good matching between the interlayer distance and the out-of-plane coherence length as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Generic Fe buffer layers for Fe-based superconductors: Epitaxial FeSe1−xTex thin films

TL;DR: The volume pinning force of FeSe1−xTex in this direction is very strong compared with that of Co-doped BaFe2As2, due to a good matching between the interlayer distance in the c direction and the out-ofplane coherence length.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of selected process conditions on the stability of hydrochar in low-carbon sandy soil

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the influence of two feedstock materials, straw digestate and poplar, and several processing and treatment parameters (carbonization temperature, washing of hydrochars and recirculating of process water) on the stability of biochars in a carbon-poor sandy soil.
Journal ArticleDOI

Facile Nanotube-Assisted Synthesis of Ternary Intermetallic Nanocrystals of the Ferromagnetic Heusler Phase Co2FeGa

TL;DR: In this paper, a facile synthesis approach for the synthesis of ternary intermetallic nanocrystals was demonstrated exemplarily with the Heusler compound Co2FeGa. The method, involving prefabricated multiwalled carbon nanotubes which act as a template and protective shell, results in the formation of mainly spherical, chemically stable, and crystalline nanoparticles with a well-defined diameter distribution.
