β-NaFeO2, a new room-temperature multiferroic material
Michel Viret,Diego Rubi,Dorothée Colson,D. Lebeugle,A. Forget,Pierre Bonville,G. Dhalenne,R. Saint-Martin,Gilles André,F. Ott +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that β-NaFeO 2 is also a multiferroic material at room-temperature but with the most interesting extra property of showing weak ferromagnetism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic resistivity and electron-magnon scattering in 3d ferromagnets
TL;DR: In this paper, the collective spin excitations and their contribution to the intrinsic resistivity in 3D ferromagnets were determined by high field magnetotransport experiments and the effect was attributed to a decrease of the electron-magnon scattering due to the damping of spin waves in high field.
Journal ArticleDOI
A CrO2-based magnetic tunnel junction
TL;DR: A tunnel junction based on the half-metallic oxide CrO2 using a native oxide barrier layer and a cobalt top electrode is described in this article, where the I :V characteristic is fitted to the Simmons model with = 0.76 eV and t = 2.0 nm.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrical properties of epitaxial yttrium iron garnet ultrathin films at high temperatures
N. Thiery,V. V. Naletov,V. V. Naletov,Laurent Vila,Alain Marty,Ariel Brenac,Jean-François Jacquot,G. de Loubens,Michel Viret,Abdelmadjid Anane,Vincent Cros,J. Ben Youssef,Nathan Beaulieu,Vladislav E. Demidov,B. Divinskiy,Sergej O. Demokritov,Olivier Klein +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, the electrical properties of 19 nm thick Yttrium Iron Garnet (YIG) films grown by liquid phase epitaxy were measured in the high temperature range [300,400]~K using a Van der Pauw four-point probe technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic coherence above the Curie point in ferromagnetic LaSrMnO manganites
TL;DR: In this article, small-Angle polarised Neutron Scattering (SANS) measurements have been carried out on a ferromagnetic La 0.75Sr0.25MnO3 single crystal.
