Journal ArticleDOI
Cortisol awakening response and additive serotonergic genetic risk interactively predict depression in two samples: The 2019 Donald F. Klein Early Career Investigator Award Paper.
Suzanne Vrshek-Schallhorn,Catherine B. Stroud,Leah D. Doane,Susan Mineka,Richard E. Zinbarg,Eva E. Redei,Michelle G. Craske,Emma K. Adam +7 more
TL;DR: This work implicates a 5‐variant additive serotoninergic multilocus genetic profile score (MGPS) and separately the cortisol awakening response (CAR) in the prospective prediction of depression.
Journal ArticleDOI
The effects of presenting additional stimuli resembling the CS+ during extinction on extinction retention and generalisation to novel stimuli
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors showed that extinction with the original conditional stimulus (CS+) and additional stimuli resembling the CS+ elevated physiological responses during extinction and reduced physiological responses to novel stimuli similar to the CSs.

Personality predicts pre-COVID-19 to COVID-19 trajectories of transdiagnostic anxiety and depression symptoms.
Richard E. Zinbarg,Madi Schmidt,Brooke Feinstein,Alexander L. Williams,Aileen Echiverri-Cohen,Craig K. Enders,Michelle G. Craske,Robin Nusslock +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , within-person pre-COVID-19 and coronavirus pandemic symptom trajectories in emerging adults and determine the roles of neuroticism and behavioral activation in predicting these COVID19related changes.
