Functional organic–inorganic hybrid membranes
Mihail Barboiu,Adinela Cazacu,Mathieu Michau,Remi Caraballo,Carole Arnal-Hérault,Andreea Pasc-Banu +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a survey of different methods and processes which can be used for the generation of hybrid supramolecular membranes is presented, and basic working principles of molecular recognition-type and self-organized membranes are provided in order to better understand requirements in material design for functional ionic-conduction pathways.
Journal ArticleDOI
Aminoguanidinium and Diaminoguanidinium As Adaptive Cationic Building Blocks in Guanidinium−Organosulfonatecrystalline Superstructures
TL;DR: Aminoguanidinium can act both as H-bond donor and acceptor via amino groups by forming R22(10) dimers, depending on the availability of Hbond acceptors in the sulfonate constituent as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Self-sorting of metallosupramolecular DCLs via double-level exchange: amplification in solution and solid state modulation.
Florina Dumitru,Florina Dumitru,Yves-Marie Legrand,Eddy Petit,Arie van der Lee,Mihail Barboiu +5 more
TL;DR: Interexchanging metallosupramolecular double level imine/ligand Dynamic Constitutional Libraries (DCLs), produce, in solution, the amplification of heteroleptic complexes, which convert into homoleptic complex via constitutional crystallization.
Journal ArticleDOI
Halogen Bonds (N---I) at Work: Supramolecular Catemeric Architectures of 2,7-Dipyridylfluorene with ortho-, meta-, or para-Diiodotetrafluorobenzene Isomers
Ioana Georgeta Grosu,Lidia Pop,Maria Miclǎuş,Niculina Daniela Hǎdade,Anamaria Terec,Attila Bende,Crina Socaci,Mihail Barboiu,Ion Grosu +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a supersmolecular assembly of 2,7-dipyridylfluorene with diiodotetrafluorobenzene isomers was obtained by mechanochemical synthesis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adaptive binding and selection of compressed 1,ω-diammonium-alkanes via molecular encapsulation in water.
TL;DR: In this article, the exact coiling behavior of variable-length alkane chains in rigid hydrogen-bonded molecular cages was determined from atomic resolution X-ray diffraction showing crenel-like conformations in the compressed state.
