MAGNETIC, TRANSPORT, AND MAGNETOCALORIC PROPERTIES OF BORON DOPED Ni-Mn-In ALLOYS
Sudip Pandey,Abdiel Quetz,Igor Rodionov,Anil Aryal,Mikhail Blinov,I. S. Titov,Valerii Prudnikov,Alexander Granovsky,Igor Dubenko,Shane Stadler,Naushad Ali +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the impact of B substitution in Ni50Mn35In15−xBx Heusler alloys on the structural, magnetic, transport and parameters of the magnetocaloric effect (MCE) has been studied by means of room-temperature X-ray diffraction and thermomagnetic measurements (in magnetic fields (H) up to 5 T, and in the temperature interval 5-400 K).
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetocaloric effect in Ni50Mn35In15 Heusler alloy in low and high magnetic fields
Igor Rodionov,Yu. S. Koshkid’ko,Jacek Cwik,Abdiel Quetz,Sudip Pandey,Anil Aryal,Igor Dubenko,Shane Stadler,Naushad Ali,I. S. Titov,Mikhail Blinov,M. V. Prudnikova,V. N. Prudnikov,Erkki Lähderanta,A. B. Granovskii +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of Ni50Mn35In15 Heusler alloy were studied in low and high applied magnetic field and it was shown that at a magnetic field of 14 T, the adiabatic temperature change ΔT measured by the sample extraction technique near the martensitic transformation (≈315 K) is as large as 11 K.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of magnetic and structural phase transitions on the normal and anomalous Hall effects in Ni-Mn-In-B Heusler alloys
Mikhail Blinov,Anil Aryal,Sudip Pandey,Igor Dubenko,Saikat Talapatra,Valeriy Prudnikov,Erkki Lähderanta,Shane Stadler,Vasiliy D. Buchelnikov,Vladimir V. Sokolovskiy,Mikhail A. Zagrebin,Alexander Granovsky,Naushad Ali +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the anomalous Hall effect coefficients of Ni50Mn35In14.5B0.25B 0.75 and Ni50mn35in14.6B0, respectively, were determined by fitting the field dependencies of the Hall resistivity using magnetization data.
Journal ArticleDOI
Giant field-induced adiabatic temperature changes in In-based off-stoichiometric Heusler alloys
Sudip Pandey,Abdiel Quetz,Anil Aryal,Igor Dubenko,Mikhail Blinov,Igor Rodionov,Valerii Prudnikov,Dipanjan Mazumdar,Alexander Granovsky,Shane Stadler,Naushad Ali +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used an adiabatic magnetocalorimeter in a temperature range of 250-350 K, and with magnetic field changes up to ΔH 1.8 T.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of the partial substitution of Ni by Cr on the transport, magnetic, and magnetocaloric properties of Ni50Mn37In13
Sudip Pandey,Abdiel Quetz,Anil Aryal,Ahmad Us Saleheen,Igor Rodionov,Mikhail Blinov,M. V. Prudnikova,Igor Dubenko,Valerii Prudnikov,Dipanjan Mazumdar,Alexander Granovsky,Shane Stadler,Naushad Ali +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the structural, magnetic, and magnetotransport properties of Ni50-xCrxMn37In13 Heusler alloys have been synthesized and investigated by x-ray diffraction (XRD), field and pressure dependent magnetization, and electrical resistivity measurements.
