Mechanisms controlling the transport and evaporation of human exhaled respiratory droplets containing the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus: a review

TL;DR: In this paper , the effects of initial droplet size, environmental conditions, virus mutation, and non-volatile components on droplet evaporation and dispersion, and on virus stability are reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI

One-step Hydrothermal Synthesis of Hierarchically Structured MoS2 Nanorods via Reaction Intermediates as Self-templates for Chemoselective Hydrogenation

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors showed that the introduction of saturated NaCl solution to the hydrothermal synthesis of MoS 2 could significantly change its structure, resulting in the hierarchically structured nanosheet-assembled MoS2 nanorods (R-MoS 2 ) with intercalated alkali ions.
Posted ContentDOI

In Situ Atomic-Scale Observation of Dislocation Climb and Grain Boundary Transformation in Nanostructured Metal

TL;DR: In this article, the authors report atomic-scale observations of grain boundary (GB) dislocation climb in nanostructured Au during in situ straining at room temperature, which suggests a means of controlling microstructures and properties of nano-structured metals.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient formation of ZIF-8 promoted by DBU for the preparation of ZnO and Ce/ZnO nanomaterials

TL;DR: In this article , a self-assembly of Zn2+ and 2-methylimidazole (2-MI) using 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficacy and safety of istradefylline for Parkinson’s disease: A systematic review and meta-analysis

TL;DR: In this paper , the effects of istradefylline on treating the motor symptoms of advanced Parkinson's disease patients were evaluated. But, there was no significant difference in efficacy compared to placebo, decreasing OFF time, and improving ON state with dyskinesia.
