Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison between conventional methods and GA approach for maximum power point tracking of shaded solar PV generators
TL;DR: A technique based on Genetic Algorithm (GA) is studied and simulated under the same software and shows that the GA method has succeeded to overcome difficulties and reach the global MPP.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sizing methodology for hybrid photovoltaic /wind/ hydrogen/battery integrated to energy management strategy for pumping system
TL;DR: A techno-economic optimization model is presented, to perform the optimal sizing of a stand-alone hybrid photovoltaic/wind/hydrogen/battery system, and the optimized sizing algorithm gives all the possible configurations of the hybrid system not only for a pumping system but also for any autonomous load located all over the world.
Journal ArticleDOI
PV shading fault detection and classification based on I-V curve using principal component analysis: Application to isolated PV system
Siwar Fadhel,Claude Delpha,Demba Diallo,Imen Bahri,Anne Migan,Mohamed Trabelsi,Mohamed Faouzi Mimouni +6 more
TL;DR: The results using experimental data of a 250 Wp PV module are very promising with a successful classification rate higher than 97% with four different configurations and the method is also cost effective as it uses only electrical measurements that are already available.
Journal ArticleDOI
Design and Experimental Implementation of DTC of an Induction Machine Based on Fuzzy Logic Control on FPGA
TL;DR: A design method of direct torque control of an induction machine, which is based on fuzzy logic control (FLC), is proposed, which uses a reduced number of fuzzy inference rules that facilitates the reduction of the FLC computation time.
Journal ArticleDOI
Power management of a photovoltaic/battery pumping system in agricultural experiment station
TL;DR: In this article, the authors focus on dynamic modeling, simulation, control and energy management in an agricultural experiment station located at Sahline-Tunisia consisting of a 1.5kW photovoltaic panel (PV) and a 25h Lead acid battery storage supplying an induction motor coupled to a centrifugal pump as mechanical load.
