Machine learning methods for better water quality prediction

TL;DR: A Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (WDT-ANFIS) based augmented wavelet de-noising technique has been recommended that depends on historical data of the water quality parameter and exhibited a significant improvement in predicting accuracy for all theWater quality parameters and outperformed all the recommended models.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modeling and Uncertainty Analysis of Groundwater Level Using Six Evolutionary Optimization Algorithms Hybridized with ANFIS, SVM, and ANN

TL;DR: The results showed that the ANFIS-GOA was superior to the other hybrid models for predicting GWL in the first piezometer and uncertainty analysis of predictions and spatial variation analysis confirmed the superiority of developed hybridization schemes in GWL modelling.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reservoir operation based on evolutionary algorithms and multi-criteria decision-making under climate change and uncertainty

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated reservoir operation under climate change for a base period (1981-2000) and future period (2011-2030) and different climate change models, based on A2 scenario, were used and the HAD-CM3 model was found to be the best model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Water Quality Prediction Model Based Support Vector Machine Model for Ungauged River Catchment under Dual Scenarios

TL;DR: In this paper, a support vector machine (SVM) was used to predict the water quality of Langat River Basin through the analysis of the data of six parameters of dual reservoirs that are located in the catchment.
