Journal ArticleDOI
How a protein can remain stable in a solvent with high content of urea: insights from molecular dynamics simulation of Candida antarctica lipase B in urea : choline chloride deep eutectic solvent
Hassan Monhemi,Mohammad Reza Housaindokht,Ali Akbar Moosavi-Movahedi,Mohammad Reza Bozorgmehr +3 more
TL;DR: This is the first study in which the microstructural properties of a macromolecule are examined in a deep eutectic solvent and it was found that urea molecules denature the enzyme by interrupting the intra-chain hydrogen bonds in a "direct denaturation mechanism".
Journal ArticleDOI
Simultaneous detection and determination of mercury (II) and lead (II) ions through the achievement of novel functional nucleic acid-based biosensors.
TL;DR: In this review, the recent achievements of functional nucleic acid-based biosensors for the simultaneous detection of Hg2+ and Pb2+ ions in two main optical and electrochemical groups are summarized.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of nano curcumin using black pepper oil by O/W Nanoemulsion Technique and investigation of their biological activities
Fariba Moghaddasi,Mohammad Reza Housaindokht,Majid Darroudi,Mohammad Reza Bozorgmehr,Abbas Sadeghi +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a method for the preparation of curcumin nanoparticles (Nano-CUR) with a view to improve its aqueous-phase solubility and examine the effect on its biological properties was developed.
Journal ArticleDOI
A simple paper-based aptasensor for ultrasensitive detection of lead (II) ion.
Zahra Khoshbin,Mohammad Reza Housaindokht,Mohammad Izadyar,Asma Verdian,Mohammad Reza Bozorgmehr +4 more
TL;DR: The developed paper-based aptasensor has been successfully applied to determine Pb2+ in tap water, lake water, milk, and human blood serum and can be efficiently utilized to detect other metal ions and biological molecules by substituting target specific aptamer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Quantum chemical studies of chitosan nanoparticles as effective drug delivery systems for 5-fluorouracil anticancer drug
TL;DR: Using DFT functionals (B3LYP and M06-2X), eight configurations for the adsorption of 5-fluorouracil drug (FU) drug on chitosan nanocarrier (CHIT) have been investigated in aqueous solution.
