A systematic approach to evaluating domain-specific modeling language environments for multi-agent systems
TL;DR: An evaluation framework and systematic approach for assessing existing or newly defined DSMLs for MASs and targets both the language and the corresponding tools is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the use of a domain-specific modeling language in the development of multiagent systems
TL;DR: This paper introduces a DSML for MASs called SEA_ML and shows how the language and its graphical tools can be used during model-driven development of real MASs and includes new viewpoints which specifically support the development of software agents working within the Semantic Web environment.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Applying model driven engineering techniques to the development of contiki-based IoT systems
Tansu Zafer Asici,Burak Karaduman,Raheleh Eslampanah,Moharram Challenger,Joachim Denil,Hans Vangheluwe +5 more
TL;DR: By modeling the Contiki-based IoT system, this study supports model-driven development of the system, including WSN motes and sink nodes (with ContikiOS), WiFi modules and information processing components.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: This paper reports on the results of the 6th International Workshop on Engineering Multi-Agent Systems (EMAS 2018), where participants discussed the issues above focusing on the state of affairs and the road ahead for researchers and engineers in this area.
Journal ArticleDOI
Declarative specifications for the development of multi-agent systems
TL;DR: This paper presents and discusses the methodology for DSL development based on declarative formal specifications that are easy to compose, and its usage during MAS development, and shows that it is possible to generate the language automatically from formal semantics.
