Dengue virus NS5 degrades ERC1 during infection to antagonize NF-kB activation.
María Mora González López Ledesma,Guadalupe S. Costa Navarro,Horacio M. Pallarés,Ana Luz Paletta,Federico A. De Maio,Nestor Gabriel Iglesias,Leopoldo Germán Gebhard,Santiago Oviedo Rouco,Diego Sebastian Ojeda,Luana de Borba,Maria Isabel Giraldo,Ricardo Rajsbaum,Ana Ceballos,Nevan J. Krogan,Priya S. Shah,Andrea V. Gamarnik +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors identify a viral mechanism to limit NF-κB activation and cytokine secretion by the DENV protein NS5 using proteomics, and they find that NS5 binds and degrades the host protein ERC1 to antagonize NFα activation, limit proinflammatory cytokine synthesis, and reduce cell migration.

A rapid and simple protocol for concentration of SARS-CoV-2 from sewage
Diana Patricia Wehrendt,Mariana Massó,Adrian Gonzales Machuca,Claudia V Vargas,Melina Elizabeth Barrios,Melina Elizabeth Barrios,Josefina Campos,Damian Costamagna,Luis Bruzzone,Daniel Cisterna,Nestor Gabriel Iglesias,Nestor Gabriel Iglesias,Viviana Andrea Mbayed,Viviana Andrea Mbayed,Elsa Baumeister,Daniela Centrón,Daniela Centrón,María Paula Quiroga,María Paula Quiroga,Leonardo Erijman,Leonardo Erijman +20 more
TL;DR: In this article, a simple protocol to concentrate SARS-CoV-2 from sewage, which can be implemented in laboratories with minimal equipment resources, is presented. But the method is limited to a small volume of sewage sample.

Analysis of the Genome Architecture of Lacticaseibacillus paracasei UNQLpc 10, a Strain with Oenological Potential as a Malolactic Starter
Nestor Gabriel Iglesias,Marina Edith Navarro,Natalia S. Brizuela,Danay Valdés La Hens,Liliana Semorile,E. Elizabeth Tymczyszyn,Bárbara Mercedes Bravo Ferrada +6 more
TL;DR: The genome of UNQLpc10 is the first whole assembled genome of an oenological strain of Lcb. paracasei reported in databases as mentioned in this paper , which is of great interest inexpanding the knowledge of diversity of oenology lactic acid bacteria and in searching for new candidate species/strains to design starter cultures.
