TL;DR: The new imidazolidin-2-ylidene silver complexes have been found to display effective antimicrobial activity against a series of bacteria and fungi.
Abstract: A series of imidazolidinium ligand precursors are metallated with Ag2O to give silver(I) N-heterocyclic carbene complexes. All compounds were fully characterized by elemental analyses, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and IR spectroscopy techniques. All compounds studied in this work were screened for their in vitro antimicrobial activities against the standard strains: Enterococcus faecalis (ATCC 29212), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 29213), Escherichia coli (ATCC 25922), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 27853) and the fungi Candida albicans and Candida tropicalis. The new imidazolidin-2-ylidene silver complexes have been found to display effective antimicrobial activity against a series of bacteria and fungi.

TL;DR: A series of benzimidazolium ligand precursors were metalated with RuCl 2 (p-cymene) 2 to give ruthenium(II) N-heterocyclic carbene complexes as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A series of benzimidazolium ligand precursors were metalated with [RuCl 2 (p-cymene)] 2 to give ruthenium(II) N-heterocyclic carbene complexes. All compounds were fully characterized by elemental analyses, 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR, and IR spectroscopy. The new benzimidazol-2-ylidene complexes have been found to be effective catalysis for the transfer hydrogenation of ketones by using 2-propanol as the hydrogen source in the presence of KOH.

TL;DR: In this paper, the benzimidazol-2-ylidene carbene complexes of Ag(I) were prepared by interaction of the corresponding benzimideazolium salt with Ag2O in dichloromethane, and the new complexes were found to be effective antimicrobial activity against a series of bacteria and fungi.
Abstract: Novel benzimidazol-2-ylidene carbene complexes of Ag(I) were prepared by interaction of the corresponding benzimidazolium salt with Ag2O in dichloromethane. Their structures were characterized by elemental analyses, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and IR spectroscopy techniques. TL;DR: The palladium complexes derived from the salts 1a-f prepared in situ exhibit good catalytic activity in the Heck coupling reaction of aryl bromides under mild conditions.
Abstract: An efficient and stereoselective catalytic system for the Heck cross coupling reaction using novel 1,3-dialkyl-3,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidinium salts (1, LHX) and Pd(OAc)2 loading has been reported The palladium complexes derived from the salts 1a-f prepared in situ exhibit good catalytic activity in the Heck coupling reaction of aryl bromides under mild conditions

TL;DR: Palladium (II) containing siliceous-MCM-41 has been prepared according to an original pathway by the reaction between silica precursors (imeo) and MCM41 as mentioned in this paper, which has been characterized by chemical analysis, X-ray powder diffraction, nitrogen sorption isotherms, and SEM and catalysis tests.
Abstract: Palladium (II) containing siliceous-MCM-41 has been prepared according to an original pathway by the reaction between silica precursors (imeo) and MCM-41. The resulting materials have been characterized by chemical analysis, X-ray powder diffraction, nitrogen sorption isotherms, and SEM and catalysis tests. Catalysis tests show that the very dispersive structure of the Pd-MCM-41 promotes the generation of fairly active catalysts for Suzuki cross-coupling of aryl chlorides and phenyl boronic acid under specific conditions, where the leaching of redox-active species has been minimized (less than 2 ppm).

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors derived the intrinsic equations for a relaxed elastic line on a light-like surface in the 3-dimensional semi-Euclidean space and derived the formula square curvature for a non-unit velocity null curve in E 3.
Abstract: H.K. Nickerson and G. S Manning [1] derived the intrinsic equations for a relaxed elastic line on an oriented surface in E 3 . Considerable works were done on physical and geometric use of null curves in the literature ( [2]-[9] ). In this work, we give the analogue of the Frenet -Serret formulas on the lightlike surface and we derive the formula square curvature for a non-unit velocity null curve in E 3 . We obtain the intrinsic equations for a relaxed elastic line on a lightlike surface in the 3-dimensional semi-Euclidean space
