Glyphosate induces human breast cancer cells growth via estrogen receptors
Siriporn Thongprakaisang,Apinya Thiantanawat,Apinya Thiantanawat,Nuchanart Rangkadilok,Nuchanart Rangkadilok,Tawit Suriyo,Jutamaad Satayavivad,Jutamaad Satayavivad,Jutamaad Satayavivad +8 more
TL;DR: The results indicated that low and environmentally relevant concentrations of glyphosate possessed estrogenic activity and there was an additive estrogenic effect between glyphosate and genistein, a phytoestrogen in soybeans, however, these additive effects of glyphosate contamination in soybean cultivation need further animal study.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of free radical scavenging and antityrosinase activities of standardized longan fruit extract
Nuchanart Rangkadilok,Somkid Sitthimonchai,Luksamee Worasuttayangkurn,Chulabhorn Mahidol,Mathuros Ruchirawat,Jutamaad Satayavivad,Jutamaad Satayavivad +6 more
TL;DR: The preliminary observations suggest that longan seed extract could be another potential source of potent natural dietary antioxidants and also in an application as a new natural skin-whitening agent.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determination of trace elements in herbal tea products and their infusions consumed in Thailand.
TL;DR: The daily intake of all elements from these herbal tea infusions (three cups/day) is still within the average daily intake, and may not produce any health risks for human consumption, if other sources of toxic metal contaminated food are not taken at the same time.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification and Quantification of Polyphenolic Compounds in Longan (Euphoria longana Lam.) Fruit
TL;DR: There was a large variation in the contents of gallic acid, corilagin, and ellagic acid in different plant tissues and cultivars and these three cultivars may be used in directed breeding and cultivation programs and to develop concentrated longan seed extracts to promote good health.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determination and variation of three active diterpenoids in Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Nees.
Nanthanit Pholphana,Nuchanart Rangkadilok,Sanit Thongnest,Somsak Ruchirawat,Mathuros Ruchirawat,Mathuros Ruchirawat,Jutamaad Satayavivad,Jutamaad Satayavivad +7 more
TL;DR: There was a large variation of the three active diterpenoids in different A. paniculata products obtained from Thai markets and the results indicated that the amounts of these active compounds consumed, based on the recommended daily doses, from materials obtained from the different suppliers will be different.
