Design of Gold Nanoparticles for Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Pj Debouttiere,Stéphane Roux,Francis Vocanson,Claire Billotey,Olivier Beuf,Alain Favre-Réguillon,Yi Lin,Stéphane Pellet-Rostaing,Roger Lamartine,Pascal Perriat,Olivier Tillement +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, gold nanoparticles are used as a carrier for gadolinium chelates to improve the sensitivity of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), a powerful non-invasive medical imaging technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
Targeted deletion of liver glucose-6 phosphatase mimics glycogen storage disease type 1a including development of multiple adenomas
Elodie Mutel,Aya Abdul-Wahed,Aya Abdul-Wahed,Nirilanto Ramamonjisoa,Nirilanto Ramamonjisoa,A. Stefanutti,A. Stefanutti,Isabelle Houberdon,Isabelle Houberdon,Sophie Cavassila,Sophie Cavassila,Frank Pilleul,Frank Pilleul,Olivier Beuf,Olivier Beuf,Amandine Gautier-Stein,Amandine Gautier-Stein,Armelle Penhoat,Armelle Penhoat,Gilles Mithieux,Gilles Mithieux,Fabienne Rajas,Fabienne Rajas +22 more
TL;DR: This is the first report of a viable animal model of the hepatic pathology of GSD1a, including the late development of hepatocellular adenomas, and long-term liver pathogenesis cannot be evaluated.
Journal ArticleDOI
RF-induced temperature elevation along metallic wires in clinical magnetic resonance imaging: influence of diameter and length.
TL;DR: This study demonstrates that temperature decreases with the diameter of the wire, temperature increases quadratically with the excitation flip angle, and the heating peaks are not obtained for the classical resonant length multiple of λ/4 (where λ is the RF field wavelength).
Journal ArticleDOI
Combination of topological parameters and bone volume fraction better predicts the mechanical properties of trabecular bone.
Laurent Pothuaud,Bert van Rietbergen,Lis Mosekilde,Olivier Beuf,P. Levitz,Claude Laurent Benhamou,Sharmila Majumdar +6 more
TL;DR: Topological parameters and BV/TV were combined following two analytical formulations, based on: the normalization of the topological parameters; and on an exponential fit-model, which could potentially be used to increase the prediction of the mechanical properties of trabecular bone.
Journal ArticleDOI
MRI Monitoring of Neuroinflammation in Mouse Focal Ischemia
Marlène Wiart,Nathalie Davoust,Jean-Baptiste Pialat,Virginie Desestret,Samir Moucharrafie,Tae-Hee Cho,Mireille Mutin,Jean-Baptiste Langlois,Olivier Beuf,Jérôme Honnorat,Norbert Nighoghossian,Yves Berthezène +11 more
TL;DR: The first MRI data showing in vivo phagocyte-labeling obtained in mice with focal cerebral ischemia is presented, showing that MR-tracking of phagocytes is feasible in mice and may have critical therapeutic implications given the potential neurotoxicity of activated microglia/macrophages in central nervous system disorders.
