Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of the size of the polar head of non-ionic detergents on membrane proteins immunoaffinity purification.
Samir Khamlichi,Marie Jeanne Loirat,Dominique Blachard,Marc le Maire,Pascal Bailly,Jean-Pierre Cartron,Olivier F. Bertrand +6 more
TL;DR: During chromatography on an immobilized anti-Kell antibody to purify Kell protein, it was observed that the size of the polar head of an non ionic detergent added to the mobile phase appeared to influence the interaction of the detergent-protein complex with the immobilized antibody.
Book ChapterDOI
Early Cortical Somatosensory and N1 Auditory Evoked Responses: Analysis with Potential Maps, Scalp Current Density Maps and Three-Concentric-Shell Head Models
TL;DR: Perrin et al. as discussed by the authors estimated scalp current density (SCD) maps by taking the spatial derivatives of scalp potential (SP) maps and used a bidimensional spline interpolation method to obtain differentiable SP maps.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transradial coronary brachytherapy with the Novoste Beta-Rail system.
Olivier F. Bertrand,Robert De Larochellière,Onil Gleeton,Sylvain Plante,Michel Tessier,Jean Guimond +5 more
TL;DR: Clinical follow‐up up to 3 months has not yielded any complication and all patients have remained free from angina and combined treatment with aspirin + clopidogrel is to be continued for at least 1 year.
Book ChapterDOI
Utility and Uncertainties of Evoked Potential Monitoring in the Intensive Care Unit
TL;DR: Electrophysiological assessment of comatose patients with EP techniques is peculiarly needed in head-injured patients receiving continuous infusions of short-acting barbiturates which modify brainstem reflexes and EEG activity with little or no effect on early SEPs or BAEPs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Images in cardiovascular medicine: transapical aortic valve implantation in a patient with severe aortic stenosis and Pott disease.
Rodrigo Bagur,Daniel Doyle,Eric Dumont,Robert De Larochellière,Jerôme Lemieux,Sébastien Bergeron,Jean-Luc Gingras,Olivier F. Bertrand,Philippe Pibarot,Josep Rodés-Cabau +9 more
TL;DR: The patient was considered unsuitable for conventional surgical aortic valve replacement because of her severe thorax deformation and pulmonary disease, and she was then evaluated for transcatheter aortsic valve implantation technique.
