Process for preparing hydrogen peroxide from the elements
TL;DR: In this article, a process for the preparation of hydrogen peroxide from oxygen or oxygen-delivering substances and hydrogen or hydrogen delivering substances in the presence of at least one catalyst containing a metal-organic framework material, wherein said framework material comprises pores and a metal ion and an at least bidentate organic compound, said bidentates being coordinately bound to the metal ion.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chemical diversity in a metal-organic framework revealed by fluorescence lifetime imaging.
Waldemar Schrimpf,Juncong Jiang,Zhe Ji,Patrick Hirschle,Don C. Lamb,Omar M. Yaghi,Omar M. Yaghi,Stefan Wuttke,Stefan Wuttke +8 more
TL;DR: It is shown that by using fluorescence imaging and lifetime analysis, both the spatial arrangement of functionalities and the level of defects within a multivariable MOF crystal can be determined for the bulk as well as for the individual constituent crystals.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reticular Chemistry and Metal-Organic Frameworks for Clean Energy
Omar M. Yaghi,Qiaowei Li +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the design concepts, synthesis, and structure of crystalline porous materials, with emphasis on their applications to onboard energy storage, were discussed. But the presentation was focused on the design and synthesis of these materials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Three‐periodic nets and tilings: minimal nets
TL;DR: The 15 3-periodic minimal nets of Beukemann & Klee have been examined and it is found that duals of such tilings with one vertex in the primitive cell have nets that are one of the minimal nets.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rigid-Strut-Containing Crown Ethers and [2]Catenanes for Incorporation into Metal–Organic Frameworks
Yanli Zhao,Lihua Liu,Wenyu Zhang,Chi Hau Sue,Qiaowei Li,Ognjen Š. Miljanić,Ognjen Š. Miljanić,Omar M. Yaghi,J. Fraser Stoddart +8 more
TL;DR: These crown ether based struts serve as excellent organic ligands to bind with transition metal ions in the construction of MOFs: the crown ethers BPP34C10DA and NPP36C 10DA in the presence of Zn(NO(3)4.H(2)O)O afforded the MOF-1001 and MOf-1002 frameworks, respectively.
