Temperature Measurement by a Nanoscale Electron Probe using Energy Gain and Loss Spectroscopy
Juan Carlos Idrobo,Andrew R. Lupini,Tianli Feng,Raymond R. Unocic,Franklin S. Walden,Daniel Stephen Gardiner,Tracy C. Lovejoy,Niklas Dellby,Sokrates T. Pantelides,Ondrej L. Krivanek +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a method that combines electron energy gain and loss spectroscopy to provide a direct measurement of the local temperature in the nanoenvironment was proposed, where both loss and gain peaks exhibit a shift towards lower energies as the sample is heated up.
Journal ArticleDOI
High resolution imaging of the interfacial region in metal‐insulator‐semiconductor and Schottky diodes
TL;DR: In this paper, the physical structure of such interfacial regions is examined using High Resolution Electron Microscopy, and simultaneous imaging of the lattice structure on both sides of the interfacial region is reported for the first time.
Book ChapterDOI
Aberration Correctors, Monochromators, Spectrometers
Peter Hawkes,Ondrej L. Krivanek +1 more
TL;DR: In the early 1990s, the quadrupole-octupole and sextupole correctors were used to correct the primary spherical and chromatic aberrations of electron lenses as discussed by the authors.
