Journal ArticleDOI

Crystallographic evidence for the tetrameric subunit structure of L-asparaginase from Escherichia coli.

TL;DR: The analysis of a monoclinic crystal modification of l-asparaginase from Escherichia coli supports the chemical and physio-chemical evidence for a tetrameric subunit structure.
Journal ArticleDOI

The structure determination of the variable portion of the Bence-Jones protein Au.

TL;DR: The structure of a χ-type Bence-Jones protein variable fragment Au has been determined by molecular replacement methods using the known structure of an other Bence -Jones variable fragment Rei.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solution of the phase problem in the X-ray diffraction method for proteins with the nuclear magnetic resonance solution structure as initial model: Patterson search and refinement for the α-amylase inhibitor tendamistat

TL;DR: Patterson search calculations using the three-dimensional structure of the alpha-amylase inhibitor from Streptomyces tendae obtained from experimental nuclear magnetic resonance (n.m.r.) data showed the maximum of the rotation function corresponded to the correct solution obtained by the previous independent determination of the crystal structure, but additional local maxima showed up.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aufklärung der Molekülstruktur des Insektenhämoglobins

TL;DR: Insektenhamoglobins Erythrocruorin und Vertebraten-Hamoglobine sind sehr ahnlich as mentioned in this paper, eine Ausnahme bildet ein Knick in der Helix H.
